Custom Customer Fields
Custom customer fields can be used to add additional information to all customers in the CloudBilling environment in a structured manner. With this function you can add information groups and fields (metadata) to all customers.
You can add a group of custom customer fields by clicking on the [+ Add Group] button. To save the group, a name must be filled in. The description is optional but may be used to inform your administrators on the goal of this group.
A new field can be added to the group by clicking on the [+ Add Field] button within the group. A name, description, type, and a key can be filled in. At least a name and a key must be filled in to be able to save the addition. The key of a field is used to recognize this field within the templates. Three different types are available for these fields: Text, Number, and Date.
